Our On/Off Valves are used in oxygen systems, at low pressure conditions, to control downstream system components. Our valves may be used for manual activation of the passenger supplemental oxygen supply. Conversely they may also be used to disable the passenger oxygen supply when isolation of the crew member oxygen supply is needed. The valve is fully opened and closed by simply flipping the On/Off lever. The flow of oxygen may only travel in one direction, from the inlet port to the outlet port. The inlet and outlet ports both provide a 1/8” ANPT connection.
The service medium for our valves is Aviators Breathing Oxygen. The working pressure is 70 psi with a maximum operating pressure of 150 psi. The operating temperature range is –65° to +165° F. The weight of the valve alone is approximately 0.25 lbs.
Each valve is pressure tested to assure bubble-free leakage internally from the inlet to outlet port. Each valve is cleaned for oxygen service and individually packaged. Air Force designation for this valve is CRU-18/A.
We offer the same On/Off Valve in 3 different configurations. Part numbers O2C74T01 and O2C74T01-1 are valves without any fittings, the only difference being the orientation of the lever. The third valve, O2C74T01-1-1 comes complete with mating fittings as shown below.
